The fowl weather may suit your mood
Blackened clouds might have their way
When things look bleak we tend to brood
But it won't rain every day
Personal storm clouds block your sight
Every thought you think is blue
Dreary skies hold back the warm suns light
Sometime soon it will get through
If sunlight cuts through mourning skies
It's quite likely more will follow
Rainbows will smile if the sky cries
Brilliant warmth fills hearts so hollow
Biting rain may come back for a while
Jealous storms could hide the sun
Please don't let the raindrops steal your smile
If they do you'll come undone
Though the weather may not match your mood
You can be warmed from within
If you smile then black clouds may brood
Rain can flow down your thick skin
Blackened clouds might have their way

What is love
She has these long, storm fingers.
The kind that leave me wide-eyed and angry.
This gargoyle heart that beats 6 times slower than it should
As she loves to leave me with half finished sentences
and a p o e t i c tongue covered in ink.
She spreads jealous heat along my cheeks,
as my nights are filled with stardust dreams.
Her words fight off hurricane nightmares.
She is a ribcage embrace,
warming these thin origami bones and
tattooing monochromatic love stories along my curves.
Literature
Hate and love.
I hate (love) the way your empty (bottomless)
ocean blue eyes bore into mine and see right
through me .
I hate (love) your despicable (charming)
crooked smile you make when I say something;
it's like you're laughing at me .
I hate (love) the way your corny (cute)
jokes make me laugh for hours even
though they are utterly ridiculous .
I hate (love) your shit (chocolate)
brown hair that flops everywhere in a
way that shows you don't care .
I hate (love) how you always annoyingly (sweetly)
ask if I'm okay and really seem to care .
I hate (love) the way you never (always)
know what to say to make me feel better
Literature
Never Away
My fingers running,
Down...down...down...
Nothing but pale skin,
To be found...(To...be...found...)
Hair...swept across the pillow and your face
Throat...bare...and I lean in to taste...
And it feels so real to me,
I swear, this cannot be a dream,
Because it doesn't fade with the day
But if this is a dream,
I never want to wake,
I never want anything to take you away...
Never away...
My fingers tracing,
Little circles around your mouth,
Teasing your tongue,
When you let it slip out...
Legs...caught together, tangled as one
Arms...holding on so strong, never to come undone...
And it feels so real to me,
I swear, this cannot

I've had to work the last few days out in the freezing rain, and it hasn't been fun. So I figured I'd take something from that and pour it into making a poem. It doesn't really have anything to do with working in the rain, but I like how it turned out.
I wasn't really too worried about line length in this one. I focused more on rhyming and the words I wanted to work with. I like the message this poem carries too, as it is more positive then the other poems I've been writing lately.
I'd love to know what you think.
